The complainant organizations allege that 786 seafarers were dismissed by a company in the maritime industry without prior notice or trade union consultation, in breach of collective agreements concluded with two trade unions as well as the national legislation, and subsequently rehired under lesser working conditions or replaced by non-unionized agency workers
