Effect given to the recommendations of the Committee and the Governing Body

1. 84. In its previous examination of the case in March 2011, the Committee requested the Government to send a copy of the ruling concerning the dismissal of trade union officer Mr Mauro Chipana Huayhuas [see 359th Report, paras 138–140].
2. 85. In its communications dated 3 May, 5 and 8 October 2011 and 19 June and 20 December 2012, the Government states that the judicial authority ruled that the judicial appeal filed by the employer (municipality of La Victoria) was unfounded; accordingly, the municipality reinstated trade union officer Mr Mauro Chipana Huayhuas and paid him the remuneration due.
3. 86. The Committee notes this information with satisfaction.
