Legislative developments. The Committee notes from the Government's report submitted under the Right to Organise and Collective Bargaining Convention, 1949 (No. 98) that the Trade Union Act was repealed and consolidated into the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act and that the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Transitional) Regulations and the Procedural Guidelines for Cancellation of Certification were adopted and came into effect on 1 June 2021. The Committee will examine the conformity of the new legislation with the Convention at its next session.
