Pursuant to section 2.4 of the Guidance Note on Norway’s implementation of the Maritime Labour Convention, 2006, issued by the Norwegian Maritime Authority in January 2015, Norway has delegated, under separate, but otherwise similar and equal written agreements, inspection and certification functions under ILO Convention No. 178 to the below list of Recognized Organizations (RO). The RO chosen by the shipowner for conducting the ISM audits, will carry out the inspections required for the issuance of the Maritime Labour Certificate.
